One of my favorite all time shows. A bit weird and one I sometimes hesitate to recommend. I just finished season two and and am very much excited for season three. Very interesting and fresh.

Star Wars: Andor |
2022 |
When I first saw the original Star Wars, I remember thinking about all the other fascinating stories that must have happened in that Galaxy, stories we will never hear about. 40 years later, we're starting to hear some of those stories and Andor is by far my favorite. It is potentially the best quality, writing and production, of any Star Wars show or movie that has been made. It's unfortunate how much the politics of the empire resembles the actual politics in the US today. Very well written and cast.
So many fascinating charaters, in particular the character of Dedra Meero. I hope that Denise Gough got awards for this performance.
Very sad to hear that this is the final season. But, I guess we only had a limited time frame to work with. I hope we'll see more stories like this one.

Classic book I read in my teens. I'm hesitate to recommend this to anyone that is not a hard core, old school, sci-fi fan. It's a lot and the story is sometimes hard to follow, as it spans generations. But, it's a wonderfully made and visually inspiring production. I'm looking forward to the the third season.

Recently finished season two. My favorite show ever about people living underground in a Silo. Highly recommend it if you like serious post apocalyptic shows. Better than most, in my opinion.

I love how well this fits into the Star Wars saga. Did an unexpectedly good job of setting up Star Wars IV.

This is a good show, set in the universe of a book that is one of my favorites. For the most part, I'm on board for this show and loved what it had to offer. However, all through the show I struggled with the idea that it's set 10,000 years before the book/movie. 10,000 years is a very long time and yet things don't seem to have changed much in that time span. Why does this bug me so much?

Sometimes I just love a show for it's style and production. This is one of those shows. It's not for everyone, but it's very high up my list.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds |

I just watched a couple of episodes so far and am very much liking the vibe of this show. Started watching with my mom, but it was a bit intense for her. So far, I'd put this pretty close to Star Trek the Next Generation.

I don't think I'm the target audience for this show. Although, it was interesting to see the first suburban neighborhood in the Star Wars universe.
I'm only 2 episodes in, this one still has time to turn around.

The Boys |

The show is generally well done and has an interesting premise. But, it's a bit too much for me. Too much violence, too much cynicism.

In my humble opinion, the worst of the Star Wars TV shows. I had a hard time watching this one, but did so anyway.
