The Bear 2022 Such a beautiful show with excellent cast and writing. This show was not afraid to take us on side trips that were quite beautiful. As a former restaurant owner, who had no where near the experience or artistic vision of Carmy, I could personally relate to this show in a way that I can't to some other shows. I hate that this show is called a comedy. I've put it into the dramedy category, but I think it's a drama that includes some excellent humor. But, I think that most people will find themselves crying more often than laughing at this show. 95
Louie 2010 Went into this show expecting a sitcom and was disappointed. Once I accepted that this is not a comedy, I fell in love with the show. It was a very funny show that took some very unexpected turns and went places I never expected it would go. It's sentimental, it's funny, and it's at times very serious.  93
Hacks 2021 I loved this show and put it very high on my list of favorites. Excellent writing and cast. Frequently made me laugh and brought me to tears. Just watched the finale last week and will miss this show moving forward. Definitely a show I think I could revisit in a few years and enjoy again.  92
Everything's Gonna Be Okay 2020 I love the charaters in this very uncomfortable comedy touching on difficult themes. Actually, I'm a bit uncomfortable calling this a comedy as opposed to a humorous and sentimental drama. This show is not afraid to explore topics that most shows avoid and to blend them with humor.  It's well written and well cast. 88
