I've removed the default "comedy" tag from many shows which I consider to be more drama. Just because a show is funny, doesn't make it a comedy.

Actually, I'm a bit uncomfortable calling this a comedy as opposed to a humorous and sentimental drama. This show is not afraid to explore topics that most shows avoid and to blend them with humor. | Rooster | 2026 | I started this show after I had just finished the series finale of Hacks on HBO and thought I might have found something to replace it. However, as I got further into the show I began to find it a bit too sappy for me. For me this show is similar in many ways to the Apple show Shrinking. I love the characters, I love the dense and witty dialogue, and their personal drama pulls at my heartstrings for a while. But, the show becomes a bit predictable in that you know that for all their flaws, all the characters will eventually do the right thing and everyone will find their way to neat and happy ending. | 87 |
